STORY

While vacationing in Japan during the summer, I visited a troop of Japanese macaque monkeys soaking in the hot springs of Jigokudani which is a quiet ravine in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. They are playful monkeys, grooming each other in the sunshine and swimming in the hot springs. I love this image of an endearing parent showing a child monkey a walnut.
