STORY

On an Antarctica expedition in January 2024, this photograph was captured from the deck of the expedition ship.

AWARDS

This image, as well as five others, was submitted as a series titled "Ethereal Moments in the Antarctic Peninsula" to a number of prestigious global photography contests. The series won Gold (1st place) in the 2024 PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris contest, Jury Top 5 and Honorable Mention in the 2024 International Photography Awards (IPA) and Honorable Mention in the 2024 Neutral Density (ND) photography contests.
